Chat functionality...limited? - Guild Wars Forums

Hello all, this is my first post! HUZZAH!! I love the game and am learning more and more every day.

Anyway, here is my question. Does anyone have any chat window workarounds or fixes for making it more useful. Some issues I'm having are:

Losing Whispers due to battle spam.
Locking up my movement when chatting.
Keeping NPC Quest dialogue seperate for closer inspection later ingame.

Is there anyway to create multiple chat windows and filter different chat channels to them? Please say there is......

Not that I know of. I'm not even sure you can filter out the item drop information. The chat system is pretty basic.

if you're whispering and dont want to see other channels, you can filter them out..
